1000 Flowers for the Planet - #115 Participate in Clean Up Australia Day

Clean Up Australia Day is on 2 March 2014. You have time to register and participate in this wonderful project, which began in 1989 when one Aussie bloke came up with the idea of cleaning up Sydney Harbour. The event was so incredibly successful that Clean Up Australia Day began the following year and then in 1993 Clean Up The World was born. You can read more about the origins of this fantastic event and all the statistical information regarding tonnage of waste collected and the type of waste thrown carelessly into the environment and waterways by reading www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au and if you don’t live in Australia then check out http://www.cleanuptheworld.org/en/  and participate in that special weekend from 19-21 September 2014. 40 million people from 130 countries participate in this environmental project – will you be one of them?
Join the growing number of people who demonstrate in a practical way that they care about their planet and are willing to give time and effort to do the right thing. Care for your planet.
