All Petalled Out

Have been busy cutting out Vliesofix petals for my 'Marmalade' quilt. Unfortunately using right handed scissors means a leftie like me gets serious pressure dents on my thumb and forefinger.

This is what I am working on.  I love the fabrics, having recently been more and more attracted to 'brights'.

What is Vliesofix? I've never heard of it before? Is it a fusible?

I know what you mean about having to use a tool with your opposing hand. Many of the things, like using measuring cups, I do as a leftie, but others I do as a rightie. So I've tried switching hands on a few to see if I could relieve an overworked hand on occasion. It's not comfortable at all.

Hi Cornwoman. Vliesofix must be a brand name - yes it is a fusible, so I have stuck the petals onto the background fabric before blanket stitching around them. 40 to go!
