Just as Flower #553 Always Use Real Crockery, we should try
to always use real cutlery for the same reasons. Wouldn’t it be much nicer to
have friends and family around to share a meal and provide them with real
cutlery, instead of plastic knives and forks that are difficult to use? Single
use plastic is a huge waste of our precious resources: we have to take oil out
of the ground, refine it, use energy to manufacture it into product, use more
fuel to transport it to the shops, the consumer uses even more fuel to drive to
the shop to purchase the product and take it home, use it once and toss it in
the bin! Doesn’t that sound stupid? That’s because it is. So spend your money
wisely on good quality cutlery that will last a lifetime and use it all the
time. You’ll be taking a lot of pressure off the planet, and save money too.
